This website

sfix-it.com sets no cookies, has no analytics or tracking, and loads nothing from other sites: no web fonts, embeds or third-party scripts. It is served by GitHub Pages; GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security, under GitHub's own privacy statement. We do not receive those logs.

When you buy something

Link, a Stripe service, is the merchant of record. It collects your payment and billing details under Stripe's privacy policy. We receive what we need to deliver the product and help you: your name, email address, country, what you bought and the amount. We never see your full card number. We use this to deliver the order (contract) and keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require (legal obligation). Without these details we cannot sell you a paid product.

When you email us

We use your message and address only to handle your question: for an order on the basis of our contract with you, otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep them as long as needed to handle your question.

Who else handles data

GitHub (hosting this site), Stripe and Link (payments), and our email provider (messages you send us). Some of them process data outside the EU, under the safeguards described in their own privacy policies. We don't sell your data, and we make no automated decisions about you; Stripe's fraud checks fall under Stripe's privacy policy.

Tool sites

A tool site on a subdomain can have a sign-up list. Joining it is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us or with an unsubscribe link where the list offers one. The list's own notice, shown next to its form, says what it is for and how long the address is kept.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or object to or limit how we use it, by emailing (not filled in yet). You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the one where you live or the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
